  1. Hey Evan: Your response to a Pink Floyd question on Quora brought me here. I was shopping for an amp many moons ago, and told the sales man I was after a David Gilmour sound. He asked me if I had about 40 or 50 grand to spend, when I answered no, he guided me to Fender Princeton chorus, 65 watt solid state amplifier, turns out it was a pretty decent amp! But that isn’t why I’m here, I’m actually curious about how this site here, is it working out for you? You got me here through Quora, so is that working too? I’ve got a site I’m working on StorySongTales.com, I’ve been playing with it off and on for close to 3 months, I don’t know what the hell I’m doing, I’m not exactly a computer person. I would be interested in some feedback from you, in regards to what you may have done here, plugins, and ETC…. I’m trying to make mine where a visitor can play on it, leave some lines to something I wrote, but I can’t seem to get that or the comments right. If you find the time, I would appreciate it if you could maybe take a look at it, and give ma a suggestion, I haven’t really promoted it yet, so no one really knows it’s there. And yeah I’m curious if this site helps you move your music, as mine is to move e-books that are nothing, but songs! Thanks Robert

    1. Thank you for writing, Robert A Jordan… I’m trying to get more traffic to my webpage because I answer MANY questions on Quora… I plugged my site a few times and got a little smack down from one of the editors. Either way, I have to do whatever it takes to get some more people aboard my team… It’s funny or ironic or great timing that you brought up David Gilmour. He is one of my favorite guitarists. He’s in the top 3… The Fender Princeton Chorus is a lovely choice. I own a different Fender Princeton with a burgundy finish–it’s creamy and sounds AMAZING!!! I also just bought another distortion pedal today: The OCD distortion. I think I can get closer to Gilmour’s tone. It’s a blend of distortion, reverb, DELAY, and some other modulated color thrown in there. It also helps to have his modified Black Stratocaster. I’m going to get close enough, practice, and become a better guitarist at some point…

I did receive an email from you about your book… Did you want me to read some of it and provide some type of feedback? I can do that. Like you, I’m NOT really a computer guy… However, my friend, Carl, is the admin on my page and he helps me with all of it. He’s technologically hip and loves what he does… If you have a question about plugins, he’s the guy, if the information is not found on a forum somewhere.

Please send whatever you like for me to peruse to this address: jacobsone34@yahoo.com Tell me exactly what you’re looking for. I’m an English Teacher, as well as a working musician, so try to be as specific as you can… This way, we can cut to the chase for a mutual win…

Also, please stay tuned for the video version of GIMME CHAI, YO! I’ll be releasing very shortly so I can have 15 minutes of fame. That’s obviously important…
Thank you so much for writing…
      Best,
      Evan J.
