Hansens Creamy Root Beer IN A CAN: Part 10 of X

Hansen’s Creamy Root Beer Natural Cane Soda

I was ready to condemn all canned sodas in my 40’s.  Perhaps it’s the metal that bothers me because it could alter the soda’s intended taste.  Add the intense carbonation to agitate my reflux for bonus points. Whether it’s in my mind or not, I’m not a fan of canned sodas. Plastic bottles are more annoying. My guitarist friend, Johnny G., is a Science Teacher and claims that plastic has a way of breaking down to the point where we consume it. When he became very scientific (that’s what he does) and discussed parts per million, I knew that I was out of my element. Then, he began to sing Plastic People from the late Frank Zappa: “Plastic people… oh baby now you’re such a drag…” However, Hansen’s Creamy Root Beer in the can really took me by surprise. The cost of each can was approximately $1.60, and deemed expensive (another futile endeavor in discourse). In short, the taste is amazingly refreshing and well worth the cash.

Here is the information directly from their website (www.hansens.com):
